Food Safety a highlight at the NZ Food Awards

For over 30 years, the annual NZ Food Awards have acknowledged and recognised innovation, creativity and excellence right across the food value chain. These Awards showcase how the food and beverage market is moving towards sustainability whilst maintaining food safety & product quality.

For the second consecutive year, Eagle Protect had the honour of presenting the Chilled/Short Shelf-Life NZ Food Award to Savour, for their organic Casheta Vegan Cheese. We were impressed with the level of product from all finalists in this category; their values resonating with our own, sustainable and ethically sourced products. There was a wide range of food & beverage specialities and each one a winner in their own right.

Product integrity is critically important and it was pleasing to hear Hon Damien O'Connor's speak at this year's Awards, of the Government's emphasis on Food Safety.
